Erectile dysfunction and high blood pressure association is fairly common

The fact that patients with hypertension may also have ED is far from uncommon. In a recent survey,  68.3% of men with hypertension reported some degree of ED. Compared to the general population of ED cases, patients with hypertension had more severe ED (45.2% in hypertensives versus ~10% in a general population as reported by the Massachusetts Male Aging Study). Much of this is attributed to medications that are used to treat hypertension, along with the effects of hypertension.
